No two Sundays are quite the same at Good Shepherd, so do visit us more than once. We celebrate the Eucharist (Holy Communion) together each Sunday and everyone is welcome to receive the Sacrament with us.
We serve non-alcoholic wine, and gluten-free wafers are available.
9 a.m. kid-friendly communion service featuring “Godly Play” storytelling instead of a sermon.
11 a.m. Choral Eucharist. We’re blessed to have a number of volunteer clergy among us who preside and preach at our liturgies.
Good Shepherd offers a noonday Eucharist based on the New Zealand Book of Prayer, followed by healing prayer and meditation.
Education and Socializing
Coffee, tea, and goodies are offered each Sunday morning in the Parish Hall following the 11 a.m. liturgy. We also like to socialize and build community with potlucks and events like our annual Pie Supper & Auction.
We plan a variety of educational programs throughout the year on topics ranging from early church history, Bible study, Anglican theology and ethics, liturgical formation and contemporary moral issues.
